I Changed the Name of This Newsletter to Home Run
(Formerly known as Foxside)
Welcome to Home Run (formerly known as Foxside). There’s a new look and more organization around home decor and style themes. I’m kicking it off mid-summer 2026 and will continue sharing home projects and inspiration, with a heavy dose of northeast/New England vibes.

A little bit about me: my name is Morrigan and I’m a visual editor by trade. I spent 15 years working as a photo editor and visual strategist for places like The New York Times, Meta and The Wall Street Journal. I’ve always been obsessed with how things look and feel, and yes, I was one of those kids who completely redecorated their bedroom every few months.
I grew up in a family that valued being able to do some basic work around your own house, and also valued making personal creative decisions. In elementary school when I was told I could pick out my own wallpaper for my room, I went with a duck border. What elementary-aged girl wouldn’t choose ducks? I mean, it’s classic.
Then, I watched my parents hang it. Later I’d watch them build decks, take down walls, paint rooms, and know when to call in experts, too. I learned a ton from them, but mostly to trust in what you love, listen to your vision and don’t be afraid to get your hands a little dirty.
So, welcome to Home Run. I’m thrilled to have you!
